Novi Resident Receives OCHN Achievement Award

Jennifer Siewicki of Novi was one of thirteen Oakland County Residents who received an achievement/peer award from Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) during its 2020“Your Voice, Your Value” virtual conference.

The achievement awards recognize the successes and accomplishments of individuals who receive public mental health services, including those with an intellectual / developmental disability, mental health challenge and substance use disorder.

Siewicki received the ‘Stigma Buster’ award, which honors someone who uses creative and innovative ways to educate others about stigma and reducing stigma regarding developmental disabilities, mental illness, or substance use disorders. All award winners were presented with commemorative plaques and yard signs displaying their award.
