Novi School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Novi is September 5. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Novi Community School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/7: No School (Election Day, Comp Day)
• 11/10: Report Cards
• 11/13: NM Parent/Teacher Conferences
• 11/14: K-4 Half Day (Parent/Teacher Conferences)
• 11/15 - 11/16: MS Parent/Teacher Conferences
• 11/16: NM Half Day (Parent/Teacher Conferences)
• 11/22: Half Day for Students and Staff
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Break)
• 11/27: Classes Resume

December

• 12/9: HS ACT Testing
• 12/23 - 1/7: No School (Winter Break)

January
