Novi School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

NOVI, MI — The first day of school in Novi is September 4 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Novi Community School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

October

• 10/23: NM Parent Teacher Conferences
• 10/24 - 10/25: High School Parent Teacher Conferences
• 10/25: NM Half Day/Parent Teacher Conferences)

November

• 11/6: No School (Election Day)
• 11/13: Half Day (Grades K-4)/Parent Teacher Conferences
• 11/14 - 11/15: Middle School Parent Teacher Conferences
• 11/21: Half Day
• 11/22- 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)
• 11/30: No School (Grades K-6 Records Day)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/24: Half Day (Grades 7-12)
• 1/25: No School (7-12 Records Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/19: No School (Presidents' Day)

March

• 3/13: Half Day (Grades 6-12)
• 3/14: Parent Teacher Conferences (Grades K-4)
• 3/21: High School Parent Teacher Conferences
