Learn more about the business in this week's Business Spotlight.

Ea Damuth, owner of Good Karma Doggie Treats, said her Novi business started in November.

She recently submitted information about the business to Patch. If you have a business and want to participate in Patch's Small Business Shout Out, you can fill out the online form.

How did your business get started? I was looking for a healthy organic dog treat for my dogs and I also wanted to help local rescue groups. So I decided to combine the two. I make homemade organic healthy dog treats and a portion of every sale is donated to a local rescue or shelter.

What products does your business provide?
I sell homemade organic healthy dog treats. For all size dogs.

What do you want your business to be best known for?
Helping local shelters and rescues. All my animals have been rescued and if I could I would save them all, but I can't so the next best thing is to help raise money for the amazing people that do so much for animals.

What's your most popular product?
My three best sellers are:

  • Organic pumpkin and molasses treats
  • Apple cinnamon treats
  • Peanut butter and parsley cookies
Why did you choose the location that you did? I work from home. I live in Novi and love the area. I would love to open a shop one day and I would over to do it in Novi. It's a great community.
