Person Steals $650 Phone from Novi AT&T Store

Someone stole a $650 phone from an AT&T store Oct. 28 in Novi, according to a Novi police report.

Employees discovered that a Samsung Galaxy Note II phone was missing from a display area at the store, at 26050 Novi Road, the report said. A lanyard from the counter was connected to the back of the phone cover. The lanyard remained in place while the phone was missing, according to the report.

The store manager said three men who were in the store earlier seemed suspicious and were in the general area that the phone was located, the report said. There is no surveillance footage of that area of the store, according to the report.
