Person Steals More than $7K in Equipment from Novi Business

Someone stole equipment from a father-and-son Novi business sometime between 9 p.m. Sept. 13 and 6 a.m. Sept. 14, according to a Novi police report.

The person stole equipment valued between $7,000 and $10,000 from Day & Night Heating & Cooling, 27629 Haggerty Road south of Twelve Mile Road, the report said. 

The suspect broke into two Chevrolet vans through the rear glass windows and took several digital meters, hand tools and torch sets, according to the report. 

There were no witnesses and no fingerprints on or inside the vans, the report said.
