Person Steals Unopened iPhones from Novi Business
Novi police provided this information.

Someone stole brand new iPhones from a Novi business sometime between Aug. 14 and 15, according to a Novi police report.
An employee at FDI Group Insurance Services on High Pointe Blvd. told police Oct. 1 that the phones were take between Aug. 14 and 15, the report said. The phones were Apple iPhone 5 models, brand new and still in their boxes, according to the report. They were ordered directly from AT&T and cost $423 each, the report said.Â
The phones were for the president of the company and his wife and were left on an employee’s desk for him to pick up, according to the report. When the phones were gone the next day, the employee assumed the president took them, the report said.Â

Later that day, the employee discovered that the phones were actually stolen, according to the report. The service was canceled for the phones and new ones were ordered. The employee said she needed to file this report for insurance purposes. The employee said they contacted the building’s cleaning service about whether anyone saw the phones, but they did not, the report said.Â
