OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — A 19-year-old Ann Arbor man has been accused of shooting a father and son at their South Lyon home Wednesday, while police continue to search for a second suspect in the shooting.

Fadi Jesus Zeineh was arraigned Monday in 52-1 District Court in Novi on 10 felonies, including felony murder — a charge punishable by up to life in prison without the possibility of parole, police said. Zeineh was denied bail, police said.

Zeineh is scheduled to appear in court again Jan. 13 for a probable cause conference. A preliminary examination in the case is scheduled for Jan. 20.

Zeineh and a second suspect are accused of shooting 17-year-old Dylan Stamper and his father, 43-year-old Kevin Stamper, around 9 p.m. Wednesday in their home in the 300 block of East Liberty Street in South Lyon.

According to Hometown Life, first responders went to the home after a woman called saying someone was trying to break into her home and that she had heard gunshots.

When police arrived, they found both Kevin and Dylan Stamper on the ground near the front door, according to the report. Dylan Stamper died, while Kevin Stamper remains in critical condition.

South Lyon police said late Monday that Zeineh became a suspect following "intensive investigation." However, attempts to find Zeineh Wednesday evening were unsuccessful.

Zeineh turned himself into the Ann Arbor Police Department early Jan. 1, police said.

Officials from the South Lyon Police Department and Oakland County Sheriff's Office said they are searching for a second suspect who was with Zeineh. That suspect drove a 2011 Ford Escape away from the home, police said, and had a license plate of EFH6360.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Police said there is a $2,000 cash reward for information in the case.
