Someone Steals Tools from Trucks Outside a Novi Business

Someone stole a large amount of tools from a Novi business some time between Nov. 8 and 11, according to a Novi police report. 

An ARCADIS Us Inc employee told police that the equipment was stolen from three trucks parked in front of the business on Cabot Drive, the report said. Employees discovered that someone pried open the caps of the trucks and removed the items, including:

• tool box
• pipe wrenches
• socket set
• screwdrivers
• hammers
• tape
• gloves
• power converter
• rain jacket and pants
• pliers
• two road hazard safety kits

Employees are supposed to remove tools from the trucks when they are parked overnight; however, some leave the trucks loaded, the report said.

There were no cameras in the parking lot and no evidence to identify any suspects.
