Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Oakland County

A 24-hour winter weather advisory has been issued for Oakland County starting at midnight Saturday.

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow may cause some travel difficulties. So, be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility and use caution while driving.

Hazardous weather is expected early Saturday as temperatures dip into the low 20s, according to the National Weather Service. Moderate snowfall (four to six inches) is expected by Saturday evening. East winds will increase to around 20 mph late Friday and continue on Saturday, causing potential snow covered and slippery roads.
