Orion Township Public Library Adds More Digital Content, Virtual Library Cards as Part of New Library App Launch

The Orion Township Public Library (OTPL) is now offering more e-books and downloadable audiobooks as well as virtual library cards and more to all library users that live in Orion Township through the cloudLibrary app.

cloudLibrary brings additional digital titles to Orion residents in both e-book and downloadable audiobook formats. With this new app, waitlists should be shorter for digital titles, and residents will have access to titles owned by other Michigan libraries.

“We are excited about this service and the increased convenience it provides for our patrons both in and outside of our library’s walls,” said Karen Knox, OTPL director. “We are joining a growing collaborative effort of Michigan libraries to share digital content in a more convenient manner.”

The new service is offered at no cost to Orion residents, requiring only a valid Orion library card. bibliotheca’s cloudLibrary app is available for free through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or by visiting www.yourcloudlibrary.com. Users will then need to follow the prompts and simply login using their library card number and PIN.
