How to Navigate Around 4th of July Road Construction
Road Commission of Oakland County has several road construction projects in the works. Here's what to expect with Independence Day travel.
Work on road construction projects around Oakland County will be temporarily suspended during the long Fourth of July weekend, beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 2, and won’t resume again until 6 a.m. Monday, July 6.
Until then, ongoing projects could cause some delays, the Road Commission for Oakland County said.
Below is a status report for ongoing projects. The information is subject to change. Projects can change from day to day, and traffic delays can develop in a matter of minutes due to weather, emergency situations and othe rfactors.
