Lake Orion Resident Receives OCHN Achievement Award
Melendez of Lake Orion was one of thirteen Oakland County residents who received an achievement award from Oakland Community Health Network.

Hector Melendez of Lake Orion was one of thirteen Oakland County Residents who received an achievement/peer award from Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) during its 2020 “Your Voice, Your Value” virtual conference.
The achievement awards recognize the successes and accomplishments of individuals who receive public mental health services, including those with an intellectual / developmental disability, mental health challenge and substance use disorder.
Melendez received the Helping Hands award, which honors someone who gives back to their community through volunteer work, helping others, and giving of themselves to make their
community a better place to live.

All award winners were presented with commemorative plaques and yard signs displaying their award.
