Murder-Suicide Confirmed in Orion Township Couple's Deaths
The names of the couple found dead by foreign exchange student living in their home have been released.
ORION TOWNSHIP, MI – An Orion Township couple found dead of gunshot wounds Friday by a Japanese foreign exchange student living in their home died in a murder-suicide, authorities said.
The student who found Mark Renusch, 57, and his wife, Maria-Aurora Renusch, 56, told authorities the couple had been arguing Thursday night, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said.
The couple were found dead at 11:56 a.m. Friday in the 3000 block of Kelsey Boulevard, The Oakland Press reports.

Maria-Aurora Renusch’s death was ruled a homicide and Mark Renusch’s death was a suicide, the Oakland County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled.
