The Oakland Technical Center Education Association has given six graduating Oakland Schools Technical Campus seniors a total of $3,000 in scholarship money ($500 each) to help them further their education.

Jaidan Hornbuckle – Cosmetology – Home-Schooled
Morgan Spina – Health Sciences – Lake Orion High School
Oakland Schools Technical Campus-Northwest
Danielle Little – Culinary Arts & Hospitality – Clarkston High School
Morgen Swanson – Health Sciences – Holly High School
Oakland Schools Technical Campus Southwest
Samantha Antonich – Agriscience & Environmental Technologies – Milford High School
Trinity Vincent – Health Sciences – Walled Lake Central
During the past 15 years, the recipients have come from all nine of the career clusters offered at Oakland Schools Technical Campuses. In total, $38,700 has been awarded and 73 scholarships earned.
Tom Cain was a longtime career and technical education teacher at OSTC-NE. The money comes from employees at each of the four OSTCs, Oakland Schools, friends and family of Tom Cain and other supporters of career technical education.
