Heavy Snow Possible Thursday in Oakland Township, Lake Orion

Ready for more snow? 

Forecasts call for between 4 and 8 inches in the Lake Orion and Oakland Township areas starting Thursday afternoon. According to a winter storm watch issued by the National Weather Service, a strengthening low pressure system will move into the southern Great Lakes region on Thursday, with the highest snow accumulations predicted along and north of M-59.

The heaviest snow is expected Thursday evening, according to the weather statement.

The high temperature is predicted to be 31 degrees on Thursday; the low is expected to be 26 degrees.
