Absolute Justice

Justice and Peace

America is not just dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic but also with lack of social and economic justice for the black and brown communities. The unalienable right of justice seems reduced to sensational words and empty promises by political leaders.

As an Ahmadi Muslim, Islam has taught me that we must always be just and not discriminate even if it is against our own selves or our kindred. We should aim to reignite the spirit of service in fulfilling the rights of others over our own through God’s recognition as modeled by Prophet Muhammad and enshrined in the Holy Quran,

“O ye who believe! be steadfast in the cause of Allah, bearing witness in equity; and let not a people’s enmity incite you to act otherwise than with justice. Be always just, that is nearer to righteousness.” [5:9]

His Holiness Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the worldwide spiritual leader of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and fifth Caliph of Messiah Ahmad reminds us that

“Peace and security cannot be established until people of each race and nation are able to recognize that they are indeed the children of Adam and created by a male and female and are therefore equal.”

About Ahmadiyya Muslim Community:

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, reformist and fast-growing international movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, the Community spans over 200 countries with membership exceeding tens of millions. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is among the oldest American-Muslim organizations.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long- awaited messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) of Qadian, India. Ahmad claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad.

The Community believes that God sent Ahmad, like Jesus, to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and re-institute morality, justice, and peace. Ahmad’s advent has brought about an unprecedented era of Islamic revival and moderation. He divested Muslims of fanatical beliefs.
