Another Sheriff's Deputy Injured in Accident in Rochester Hills

The deputy was treated and released after incident on Tienken Road.

A deputy from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office was injured Wednesday night when a car pulled out of a Tienken Road driveway into his patrol car.

According to a report from the sheriff's office, the deputy was treated for a minor injury at an area medical clinic and released.

It was the second injury to a sheriff's deputy this week in Rochester Hills. On Monday, a deputy was injured when his car was rear-ended on Rochester Road.

Wednesday's incident happened at 8:17 p.m. as the deputy was traveling east on Tienken Road approaching Rochester Road. The driver of the car that hit the deputy was not injured and was cited for failing to yield to the right-of-way.
