Bike Reported Stolen From Carport at Rochester Apartment

Rochester Police responded Aug. 5 to the 800 block of Ironwood for a report of a stolen bicycle, according to a police report.

The owner of the bike, a Rochester woman, told police she had secured her bicycle with a chain lock beneath the carport of her apartment at about 6 p.m. on Aug. 4. The next day, she told police, she noticed the bicycle was missing and that the chain had been cut. 

The bike is described as a light blue women's Schwinn mountain bike.

Rochester Police are continuing to investigate the case.
