Cuthbertson Named as New Rochester Mayor

The City of Rochester has a new mayor. 

Jeffrey T. Cuthbertson will serve a one-year term as Rochester mayor from 2013-2014. 

Cuthbertson's mayoral predecessor, Stuart A. Bikson, will serve as mayor pro tem for the next year, a role held this past year by Cuthbertson.

The Rochester City Council also welcomed new councilmember Rob Ray, who will serve a two-year term through 2015. Cuthbertson, Bikson and Cathy Daldin retained their council seats with four-year terms in the Nov. 5 election. Ray finished fourth in the vote, earning a two-year term.

Rochester appoints a new mayor from the City Council each November.
