Error Discovered In Election Results For Rochester Hills
The discovery of the error affects the unofficial result for County Commission District 15, and candidates have been notified of the error.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — An error in election results in Rochester Hills has been found, Oakland County Clerk Lisa Brown said Friday.
The error occurred when a local clerk sent ballot totals for seven precincts in Rochester Hills to the County twice, Brown said.
The first set of results were labeled as precinct ballots, the second set was labeled as absentee ballots, Brown said. However, they were the same batch of ballots which were, in fact, absentee ballots.
