Rochester Hills Public Library Computer Sale

What happens when the Rochester Hills Public Library upgrades computers and other electronics?

A big public sale of the ones they no longer need.

The library will host a public sale for electronic equipment and an assortment of other hardware from around the library on April 1 and 2 (next Monday and Tuesday) from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. The sale will be held in the library's multipurpose room.

“As we update equipment to handle an ever growing computer demand we find we have equipment that will function well for home use, but can’t provide the heavier computing needed by the library,” said library director Christine Hage.

Here's what's for sale.

“Knowledgeable staff members will be on location to answer questions,” said Derek Brown, director of IT at the Library.
