A First Meeting Between Two People Who Met Online Ends With A Call To Sheriff's Deputies
A man meeting a woman for the first time became worried about cuts on her arm and called 911.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — A first meeting between two people who connected online ended with a call to the Oakland County's Sheriff's Office, according to a news release.
A man called 911 at 3:27 a.m. to report he was worried about a 26-year-old Pontiac woman. The two had met online and this was to be their first in-person meeting. However, when the man arrived at the woman's home, he was alarmed about cuts lining her arms, which prompted him to leave and dial 911.
Oakland County Sheriff's deputies responded to the residence in the 300 block of W. Hopkins St. in Pontiac. Deputies knocked on the residence door to no avail and contacted the man who call 911, who reported that the woman was still sending him Facebook messages.

Deputies continued knocking on the door until the woman partially opened it. Upon seeing cuts on the woman's arms and dried blood on her hands, deputies asked to be let in. She responded by closing and locking the door shut. At this point, fearing for the woman's safety, deputies forced entry to the residence and secured the woman. Paramedics transported her to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for a psychiatric committal and evaluation.
