The Force Is With 'Rochester Posed' On Oct. 5
The event brings movie characters to life with live live mannequins in in store fronts. Science fiction is this year's theme.
ROCHESTER, MI. – One of metropolitan Detroit’s truly unique events — “Rochester Posed” — is returning on Oct. 5 in downtown Rochester. The idea of the event is to bring movie characters to life with live live mannequins in in store fronts.
This year’s theme is science fiction and will include characters from classics like Star Wars and Ghost Busters. Rochester Posed will be from 7-9 p.m.
“This is a must see event that appeals to people of all ages,” said Jenna O'Dell, Events Coordinator of the Rochester Downtown Development Authority. “The participating businesses put a lot of time and creative effort into making their windows come alive.”

The public will vote for their favorite live mannequin display. Text-to-vote will be available from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Specific details will be listed at each of the participating locations, as well as the event program.
Rochester officials will announce the top three winning window on Friday, Oct. 6. The winning business will receive a certificate and bragging rights.
