Group Begins Crowdfunding Campaign for Clinton River Kayak and Canoe Access

(Originally posted on Dec. 8, 2016) ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Paddles up! Next summer the Clinton River may be more accessible to canoe and kayak enthusiasts. A crowdfunding campaign has launched to construct a kayak and canoe launch in Mount Clemens’ MacArthur Park, The Rochester Post has reported.

“We want to connect to the downtown restaurants and shops with an easy paddle,” Tara Beatty, Clinton River Watershed Council development director, told the newspaper.
