Historic Train Depots, Old-Fashioned Christmas Coming to Museum

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be hosting a presentation on Michigan Train Depots, Michigan's Destination Depots - Lighthouses Along The Rivers of Steel by architects Jackie Hoist and Ron Campbell on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. Their book by the same name will be available for purchase.  

Guests also can enjoy the museum's model train show on display every Friday and Saturday from 1-4 p.m. through Jan. 4.  Admission is free for Museum members and $5 adults, $3 seniors and students.  Guests are asked to RSVP for the presentation.

Old-Fashioned Christmas comes to museum 

Old-Fashioned Christmas takes place on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 1-4 p.m.  Museum buildings are decorated for the Holidays and hay wagons will shuttle guests between buildings featuring food, treats, crafts, chestnuts, carolers, and a model train show.  Tickets are available on the Museum website at www.rochesterhills.org.
