If You Love to Garden and Have Time to Spare, Library Needs You

Those colorful gardens that surround the Rochester Hills Public Library rely on a crew of volunteers to maintain.

The Rochester Hills Public Library is looking for volunteer gardeners to help maintain the perennial garden behind the library.

“For the past few years Master Gardener Karen Sadovsky has maintained the garden,” said library director Christine Lind Hage. “The garden is in excellent shape, but now we need to maintain it.”

Under Sadovsky care the garden won the Keep Michigan Beautiful Award in 2011.
