Horace Mann has appointed Jeff Lauth as an Exclusive Agent for Horace Mann Educators Corporation. Lauth’s insurance agency, Lauth Agency Inc., serves school employees from Rochester, Clarkston, Lake Orion, Oxford, Avondale, South Lyon, Pontiac and Waterford.
Lauth is active in his local community as a Little League Baseball coach, president of a homeowners association, co-founder of dad’s club (The Bear Den) and legislative chairperson for Reuther Middle School. He had appeared on the ballot in this year's Rochester Hills City Council race, but dropped out of the race before the election, citing personal reasons.
“I joined Horace Mann because I love to have a positive impact on kids. I spend a great deal of time in the schools searching for ways to get myself and others involved for a common purpose," Lauth said in a statement. "That common purpose has a common denominator, and that is our children. There is nothing more important, nor can you put a value on having a positive influence on the generations of tomorrow today.”
