The first home invasion occurred in the 2100 block of East Shore Drive, west of Dequindre and south of Hamlin. Foot prints from the rear of that home led to the driveway of a home under construction down the street, the report stated.
The second home invasion occurred in the 700 block of Bliss Drive, west of John R and north of Hamlin Road. In that instance, sheriff's deputies followed foot prints leading from the back of the home, and a K-9 unit tracked the scent to the 600 block of Windsong, where it was lost, according to the report.
