Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched Nov. 7 to the 3300 block of W. Auburn Road for a report of a stolen yard trailer.Â
The owner of the trailer told deputies that at about 9 a.m. on Nov. 6, he loaded several trash containers onto his flatbed Toro yard trailer and placed it along the curb so the trash company could pick up the waste.
At about 3 p.m. that day, the man found the trailer was missing. He described the trailer as faded red in color with no back door on it. He said it was about 10-12 years old with a single-axel, new white pneumatic wheels and a sprayed liner. He also described it as being low to the ground. He could not provide a serial number for the trailer, which he valued at about $100.
