Man Reports Smashed Minivan Window in Rochester Hills

Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched Jan. 12 to the 2200 block of Avon Lake for a report of a smashed vehicle rear window.

According to a police report, the vehicle owner told a deputy he was driving to run errands at about 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 11 when he noticed the rear window of his Chevrolet minivan had been broken out. The man told the deputy when he returned home and looked in the driveway, glass had been scattered on the ground. The man told the deputy he couldn’t find anything inside or outside the vehicle that might have caused the damage and that nothing had been taken from the vehicle.

According to the report, the vehicle had no further damage besides the broken back window and nothing had been taken from the minivan. The Sheriff’s office does not have any suspects in the incident.
