Metro Detroit Weather Forecast: Will Snow and Winter Return This Week?
It won't be as warm this week as it was Saturday, but it won't be bone-chilling cold, either.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Saturday’s high temperature of 65 degrees broke a 1961 record of 62, according to the National Weather Service, and it was warmer here than it was in Los Angeles, Phoenix and New Mexico.
But will it last? It won’t get as warm this week as it did over the weekend, but you won’t need the extra layers of clothing that are often required to survive a Michigan winter. But there is snow in the forecast.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 49; calm wind becoming east southeast 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Monday night: A chance of rain after 1 a.m.; mostly cloudy, with a low around 38; east-southeast wind around 8 mph; chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
Tuesday: A chance of rain before 1 p.m.; cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 57; west-southwest wind around 9 mph.; chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. Wednesday night: A chance of rain after 1 a.m.; mostly cloudy, with a low around 45.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 55. Thursday night: Rain likely, mainly after 1 a.m.; mostly cloudy, with a low around 40.
Friday: Rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm; cloudy, with a high near 54. Friday night: Rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm; mostly cloudy, with a low around 35.
Saturday: Snow likely; mostly cloudy, with a high near 41.
