Metro Detroit Weekend Weather Forecast: Spectacular

Sunshine will dominate this weekend's weather forecast in metropolitan Detroit.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Summer isn’t going away without a fight. That much is clear from the metropolitan Detroit weekend weather forecast. With temperatures near 80 degrees, it might be a great time take one final three-day weekend before cold weather descends in a few weeks.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday looks great with a high of about 78. There will be some morning fog, but after it clears, skies will by sunny. Expect a low of about 61.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63. South southeast wind 3 to 6 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66.

On Monday, the great weather will continue, the National Weather Service says. The high is expected to hit 79 under mostly sunny skies.
