METRO DETROIT, MI — After a beautiful weekend around southeast Michigan, weather for the coming work week will be downright, well, decent. Temperatures will be mostly seasonable, actually reaching a peak on Monday with a high of around 72 degrees.
If you like the sun, Tuesday and Wednesday should be made to order for you with highs of 62 and 56, respectively. Thursday will see a chance of rain after 2 p.m. and the temperature will tick up to 58. Here’s a closer look at your work week weather:
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. South wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. Breezy, with a southwest wind 16 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Monday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 10pm. Cloudy, with a low around 54. South southwest wind 9 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 62. West southwest wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. West wind 7 to 11 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 56. Wednesday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 41.
