Moon River Soap Company washed out the competition Monday in downtown Rochester's Christmas Tree Challenge, a competition between businesses to decorate storefronts with creative holiday trees and decor.
The local soapmaker earned top prize for its "Moon Dog" display, named after the company's pet-friendly products. Â
The winners were announced Monday at Lagniappe, which kicked off this year's Big, Bright Light Show in downtown Rochester.
The Funky Frog Children's Resale Boutique earned second prize and @Home Furniture earned third place.Â
