Narcan Helps 26-Year-Old Man Regain Consciousness: Police
Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies say that Narcan revived the unconscious man.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A 26-year-old woman discovered her 26-year-old boyfriend unresponsive but breathing and called 9-1-1 on Dec. 7 at 4:06 p.m., according to a news release.
Dispatch forewarned Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies that CPR was in progress and it was a possible drug overdose. When Deputies arrived at the scene in the 2500 block of Crooks Rd., they took over CPR, and administered NARCAN, a prescription medicine that can potentially reverse an overdose if taken immediately. Deputies say the man regained consciousness after the NARCAN was administered.
Responding Rochester Hills Fire Department crews took over medical treatment and transported the victim to McLaren Oakland Hospital for further medical treatment. Deputies located suspected heroin, cocaine and marijuana at the scene and cited the woman for possession of marijuana.
