Oakland County Coronavirus Update: 72,084 Cases, 1,940 Deaths

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI – There have been 72,084 confirmed cases of the coronavirus cases in Oakland County, according to newly released health data.

There were three additional deaths reported Friday, bringing the total cumulative COVID-19-related deaths in the county to 1,940.

Michigan reported 5,030 new COVID-19 cases on Friday.

There were 20 additional COVID-19-related deaths statewide reported Friday, which is half number of deaths that were reported on Thursday.

To date, there have been 647,899 coronavirus cases across the state, with 15,984 coronavirus-related deaths.
