Oakland Edge Adult Hockey Tournament Registration Under Way
Those who sign up by Friday can save $50 off registration fee.

Adult men and women hockey teams have until Friday to register for the 2014 Oakland Edge Adult Hockey Tournament and save themselves $50 off the regular registration fee.
The tournament, now in its sixth year, is set for April 25-27 at the Onyx Arena in Rochester. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games and up to five games. Team registration is $750 after Jan. 31. The entry deadline is April 1. Male players in the B, C and D divisions must be at least 30 years old. Participants in the women’s division must be at least 18. Elite A division players must be at least 21 years old. There are also a Men’s 50 and over division and a co-ed sled division for disabled athletes ages 15 and up.
Teams will play three 15-minute running time periods. Each team is limited to 18 players and all players must be registered with USA Hockey. More than 400 players from the Midwest and Canada participated in the 2013 Oakland Edge.Â

The top teams will play-off for trophies. Players on the winner and runner-up teams will receive awards. Each tournament participant gets a souvenir Oakland Edge t-shirt. A disk with a team picture and action shots is provided to each team. The number of teams is limited so register online to reserve your spot at www.oaklandedge.com.
The tournament is sponsored by Warrior and supported by Perani’s Hockey World. It is sanctioned by USA Hockey and the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association.
