PCCA Virtual Summer Art Camp brings art home for kids
Paint Creek Center for the Arts Announces First Virtual Youth Summer Art Camp
Young artists across the globe can get creative from the safety of home with the Rochester area’s first Virtual Summer Art Camp. Paint Creek Center for the Arts (PCCA), a nonprofit art center based in Downtown Rochester, MI, announces its first Virtual Youth Summer Art Camp beginning June 8.
Open to children ages 8-12, each themed week of Virtual Summer Art Camp includes 15 live, zoom-based lessons and a kit including all the supplies and art materials needed to create masterpieces right from home.

Multiple Daily Meeting Schedule
- Students will have access to the following each week:
- 9:45 AM Morning Meeting
- 10 -11 AM Project One (Painting/Drawing)
- 12 - 1 PM Project Two (Mixed Media)
- 2 - 3 PM Project Three (Clay)
“We are thrilled to offer summer camp as a virtual option this year,” said Elizabeth Chilton, PCCA Executive Director. “Virtual Summer Art Camps are a fun way for students to learn new skills from the safety of their own home, led by great instructors and in the company of friends from anywhere in the community, or even the world!”
The fee for PCCA Virtual Summer Art Camp is $150 per student. PCCA will provide all registered campers access to lesson videos in case campers miss a class.
