Photo of the Day: McMillin Sworn In for Third Term in Lansing

The Rochester Hills Republican's family joined him for the ceremony.

State Rep. Tom McMillin, R-Rochester Hills, on Wednesday took the oath of office to begin his third term in Lansing.

Michigan's Lieutenant Governor, Brian Calley, administered the oath at the state Capitol. McMillin's wife, Dalila, and daughters Anna and Leah attended the ceremony, according to a news release from the House Republicans.

McMillin's 45th district represents Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township. He defeated Democrat Joanna VanRaaphorst in November for the House seat. Because of Michigan term limit law, this is McMillin's last term as a representative.
