Police Arrest Man on Marijuana, Suspended License Charges

On Sept. 18, a Rochester Police officer driving northbound on Main Street ran the plate of a Chevrolet in front of him and found the driver's license was suspended, according to the department.

The officer pulled the driver over at Main and Ferndale, where a 36-year-old Pontiac man was registered as the vehicle owner. The man was handcuffed and a bag of marijuana was recovered from the trunk of the vehicle, according to the department. 

The man was taken to the Rochester station and was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana and was released.
