Police Responding To An Intrusion Alarm Discover Home Is On Fire
An intrusion alarm originally summoned the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, yet arriving Deputies discovered the home was on fire.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — An intrusion alarm call took a turn and became a fire investigation, according to a press release.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office received a call of an intrusion alarm at 10:57 a.m. on Feb. 7. Deputies were immediately dispatched to the residence in the 1000 block of Twin Lakes Blvd. However, arriving Deputies made a surprising discovery...the inside of the home was on fire, according to police.
The Oxford Township Fire Department was summoned and extinguished the blaze. An OCSO Fire Investigator conducted an investigation of the scene and determined the fire was an accident, and it began in the living room, according to the police report.
