Rochester Hills City Employees Take Part In '30 Days Of Giving' Campaign
City employees are doing everything from building batting cages to baking cookies to give back to their community.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — The next 30 days in the city of Rochester Hills sure will be special ones! The city just launched its annual 30 Days of Giving Program, where over 200 city employees brainstorm ways their department can give back to Rochester Hills - and then actually do it, according to a news release.
For example, Department of Public Services employees stepped up to the plate by helping Rochester High School build batting cages. And the Finance team supported the kitchen staff at the OPC Senior Center by donning chefs' hats and baking over 1,300 cookies that will be a part of Meals on Wheels holiday baskets.
“Giving team members a chance to get out and involved in our community has been incredibly rewarding,” Mayor Bryan K. Barnett said in a statement. Barnett continued, “We are blessed to have such generous and invested employees.”
