Rochester Hills Requests Moment of Silence for JFK

Today marks 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination.

Rochester Hills residents are being called upon to observe a moment of silence at 12:30 p.m. today to remember the life and legacy of the late President John F. Kennedy.

Today marks the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's 1963 assassination in Dallas, TX.

According to a spokesperson for the mayor, Barnett has proclaimed Friday to be a day of remembrance and reflection on the life of Kennedy. The proclamation is attached above.
