Rochester Hills Resident Runs Every Street
Sandy Stiner spend months running the streets of Rochester Hills and got to know the town and its people a lot better.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Saying Sandy Stiner likes Rochester Hills might be the understatement of 2017. She spent nearly half the year getting to know the town better by running every street — some 500 miles, according to an Oakland Press report.
“I realized how much I really loved this city,” said Stiner. “There’s so many hidden parks and little trails that lead from one subdivision to the next. There’s just so many things I didn’t know were out there and now I know where everything is at in the city.”
“With four miles left to complete her goal, Stiner invited Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett to join her as she finished the last section.”
