Rochester Turns Into a Winter Wonderland

Snow expected to continue Thursday morning.

At least 5 inches of snow fell during a blustery Wednesday in Rochester and Rochester Hills as the area transformed into a scene fit for a snow globe.

According to the National Weather Service, the snow was expected to continue on Thursday until about noon; a chance of additional snow was in the forecast for Friday and Saturday.

The snowfall Wednesday delayed and grounded planes at Detroit Metro Airport and slowed traffic on Oakland County roads — including busy roads in Rochester and Rochester Hills.
