Shooting Leaves Rochester Man In Stable Condition

The Rochester man was shot early Saturday morning at a Pontiac nightclub.

ROCHESTER, MI — A 24-year-old Rochester Man was shot early Saturday morning after a large fight broke out at a Pontiac night club. He was shot in the ankle and is currently listed in stable condition, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

Two Pontiac residents were also shot and are both listed in stable condition. The incident occurred after 2 a.m. in the 500 block of N. Perry Street when a large brawl broke out between patrons at the Center Stage Banquet Hall, police reports said.

The fight spilled out into the parking lot and several people began shooting, police said. Oakland County Undersheriff Mike McCabe said deputies arrived on scene at 2:34 a.m.

A 36-year-old Pontiac woman was shot in the chest and was transported to McLaren Hospital. A 27-year-old Pontiac man was hit in the thigh and waken to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital along with the Rochester man.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shootings, McCabe said. An investigation is ongoing.
