Argument Over Man Leads To Shots Fired, Investigation: MSP

No injuries were reported after a fight between two women prompted gunshots, Michigan State Police said Monday.

ROYAL OAK TWP., MI — An argument that began between two women fighting over a man led to gunshots and an investigation by the Michigan State Police, authorities said Monday.

MSP troopers said they were called to the 21000 block of Wyoming in Royal Oak Township around 12:50 a.m. Monday following reports of an assault. Police said two women were involved in a fight over a man.

The fight continued outside the home when a vehicle pulled up with the vehicle's occupants getting out of it and joining in on the fight, police said. When the fight ended, police said a tall Black man between 30 and 35 years old pulled out a handgun and fired.

Troopers said they found evidence of the handgun being used at the scene. No injuries were reported, police said.
