Beaumont Eases Visitor Restrictions Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

All Beaumont Health hospitals are easing COVID-19 visitor restrictions beginning Tuesday due to declining COVID-19 positivity rates.

ROYAL OAK, MI — All Beaumont Health hospitals are easing COVID-19 visitor restrictions beginning Tuesday due to declining COVID-19 positivity rates and increased vaccination rates, the health system said.

The health system said in a news release that it will continue to evaluate visitation policies and procedures and could update guidelines again, as needed.

According to the new policies, which can be viewed in their entirety here, all visitors will be required to wear masks regardless of whether they've been vaccinated. Visitors also will be screened for COVID-19 prior to being allowed inside the hospital. All visitors also have to be free of COVID-19 symptoms.
