Elvis (the Dog) is Missing
Chihuahua-Jack Russell terrier mix has been gone from his Royal Oak home for a week.
Fred Orser of Royal Oak has been looking for his dog, Elvis, for a week without any luck. He's hoping Royal Oak Patch readers can help.
Elvis is about 4 or 5 years old, is tan in color, has white toenails and weighs 7-10 pounds, Orser said.
Orser picked up Elvis about a year and a half ago when he was in North Carolina for a weekend wedding. Someone had left Elvis at the campground where Orser was staying and the dog had been there about two weeks, Orser said.

"He was running around and no one could catch him," Orser said. "But then he came out of the woods and followed me everywhere. He picked me."
Orser and Elvis quickly bonded. "He hiked with me on the Appalachian Trail over 100 miles," he said.

Elvis is not neutered so Orser thinks that spring got the best of him. "He got a chance to get out of the gate and he took it," he said.
Orser lives on Midland Boulevard between Main Street and Rochester Road. If you see Elvis, give him a call at 586-801-4972.
